Email Order Notifications
You will be notified by email when your order is placed, when it is processed, and when it is shipped. This gives you the peace of mind when tracking the status of your order. In addition, if you have chosen the SpeedPost courier service, you can track your shipment using the waybill number provided (when you confirm your order).
Shipping and Customs/VAT Charges
At RCXshop, we do our best to find the lowest cost method to deliver your order (depending on your time requirements). We don't inflate the shipping charges to make an extra dollar from you, but rather we pass on any savings that we can get from HKPost to you. As we get better rates, we will continue to lower the shipping charges on an ongoing basis. In some countries (particularly in Europe), the customs duties and VAT charges can add substantially to your order. We will do our best to minimize such charges, by using customs friendly packaging such as smaller boxes, professional labels, etc. While there is never a guarantee that you will not be charged duties or VAT, reality is that customs do not have enough resources to check every shipment, so they do random checks and look for particularly suspicious parcels (based on certain criterias) and the chance of your order being checked is slim (hundreds of thousands of packages are delivered every day).
Packaging for International Shipments
International shipments are not always handled gently ;)
We use extra packing materials, such as bubble-wrap and waterproof boxes, to ensure your order is not damaged during shipping. In some cases, this may mean we open the original manufacturers packaging and re-wrap it for better protection. If you do not want us to open the original packaging, please let us know in the comments section before you confirm your order.
